Feb 10 - 16

The week of Feb 10th to 16th

Sunday: Big A did some reading to the other kids in Sunday School.
Lots of singing
Art

Monday:
This week Big A was blessed with 2 hours of horse therapy.
-muck the stalls
-dry the horse (as it was raining)
-brush the horse
-feed the horse
-clean out the hooves
-rode a lot on her own
-played simon says with pointing to different parts of the horse & saddle & parts involved in the horse equipmentt (she is learning a lot of horse terminology)

Daddy & Big A finished reading "Lion, Witch & Wardrobe this week and celebrated by watching the movie together (it was nice - they dont get a lot of bonding time). They have decided to work through the rest of the series. I have asked Daddy that for the rest of the books to read a chapter and then get Big A to draw about what she heard in the story. (the writing will happen then too).

Tuesday:
Watched Super Why (reading show)
Did 4 pages in printing book
Did 2 pages of addition (adding by 2's & 3's)

Valentines Party today with 3 other homeschooling families that we had the pleasure of meeting today.
-played with a bunch of other children
-valentines version of duck duck goose
-Art: decorate door knob signs
-Art: decorate cookies with icing & valentines candies
-sing songs
-read bible passages
-listened to a story about an apple.
(about an apple whp didnt want to fall on the ground because there were worms on the ground,...

Dr. Bamber Assessment today  - final part of large Assessment : hope to get final results next week...i hope

Put together a gaint Map of Cananda Floor Puzzle
Talked about provinces, where we live , where we will be going on our vacation.
Talked about capital cities.
Talked about capital of Canada

Chilliwack car apt & visit with Auntie :)

Thursday:
Valentines Arts & crafts
Reading Prince Caspian with daddy.

Friday:
Big A had fun socializing with the kids from "moms morning out"  - they played lots of games in the gym, and did valentines art / crafts, they read stories & sang songs.

Saturday :
We went to the Tradex to see the all the animals.  There was everything from hedgehogs & chicks to puppies / dogs, reptiles, groundhog & horses. Big A LOVED watching the horses and listening to the talk that the vetrinarian gave on horses. Also how to care for  animls in the wild and remembering to recycle. What a great family afternoon!
