*Pioneer Girl - The Story of Laura Ingalls Wilder. by William Anderson
Big A says... that it is about the life of Laura when she was born till she was really old. She is a great story teller. She was a pioneer girl when she was a little girl but not when she was grown up. She moved a LOT and travelled to lots of places in her wagon. Her sister Mary become blind when she was like 12. Laura had 3 sisters. Grace, Mary & Carrie. She married a guy (long name) they had a baby girl named Rose. Laura was single for many years after her husband died. She worked at a school (5 kids in her class) - when she was very old she baked cookies for them and let them explore her house. Told stories about being a Pioneer Girl. Lauras Father died when she was pretty young. Like a teenager. She had a bulldog named Jack - she had him for the rest of her life. When she was young - some wolves howled - but she knew that her bulldog would keep her safe.
